As the heat waves start and the mercury levels rising day by day we all feel drained out all the time and nobody has the energy to do anything. With the scorching sun its quite so natural to feel dehydrated. How do we beat the Heat? Here are some summer coolers that will help you beat the heat as well as stay hydrated and healthy.

1. Tender coconut water

Instant energizer as it contains minerals,electrolytes and simple sugars along with the goodness of water.Helps balance the sodium and potassium level in the body which is our main salts lost in sweating.

2. Curd

What better than buttermilk and lassi to cool you. Loaded with probiotics also helps keep your gut healthy.Make a dessert with some fresh fruits added to it and works as a healthy snack alternative.

3. Cucumber

Rich in Vitamin A, Pantothenic Acid, Magnesium, Phosphorus and Manganese, Vitamin C, Vitamin K and Potassium cucumber is a whole lot of goodness. Also adds up to our dietary fiber and helps keep constipation at bay.

4. Mint

They are good all round the year. Rich in water content avoid over cooking them to retain the nutrients like fiber, folate,iron,vitamin C and vitamin K.
