Keep Your Resolutions!!!

 

Another year is gone by and New year is here again.Time to relax and think what our future should be like. Its the time we make our resolutions and most don’t last long. On an average it has been seen that the 90% of the people include at least 1 health based resolution in their list. So health is everyone’s priority then why and how is it that we don’t stick to our resolutions? Time and life takes a toll on everyone!!

I would rather prefer answering how do we keep our resolutions.

1.Experts say any change takes 21 days to become habit and 6 months to be a part of their personality.

2.U need not do it perfectly from 1st of Jan instead focus on taking baby steps eventually you will get into the habit.

3.Do not give up! Giving up is easy sticking on is difficult.Success comes to those who stick on.

4.Be more realistic in your resolutions.If you goal is to get up at 6 n you sleep at 12 its easy to give up.Start sleeping early if u want to get up early.

5.Write down a benefit and damage list.If you keep your resolution what are the benefits you get n if you don’t what is the damage it could possibly cause.Keep d benefit list in front of you every morning to read to keep you motivated to do it.

6.Plan ahead.Dont write your list on new years eve write it from today.What is do 1 day before is based on your mood that day n does not consolidate what you really want.

7.Don’t blame yourself if you slip once or twice.The more you beat yourself the less you will stick to it.

8.Decide on how to want to start.Decision is all that makes a difference in your actions

9.Reward yourself for the achievements.It could be as simple as going for a movie or some fitness clothing if ur resolution was health.Related things will keep you more motivated to continue.

10.Lastly make sure u track your progress.The more accountable your the lesser you give up.
