Healthy Eating Plate

  1. Use healthy oils like olive oil and canola oil for cooking. Limit butter. Avoid trans fat.
  2. The more veggies and greater the variety the better is the health. Junk food like chilly potatoes, french fries and burgers won’t contribute to your health but you will face a downfall in your health.
  3. Eat plenty of fruits of all colors.
  4. Drink plenty of water.
  5. Drink tea, coffee with little sugar or no sugar.
  6. Limit milk and other dairy products (1-2 servings per day) and limit juice (1 serving per day)
  7. Eat whole grains like brown bread and wholehearted bread. Limit refined grains like white rice and white bread.
  8. Choose fish, poultry and beans rather than red meat and other processed meats.
