SOME ATTRACTIVE RECIPES TO ENJOY SUNDAY BETTER AT HOME WITH FAMILY:

 

Sunday is a special day for all of us after a hectic schedule of a week. We all want to relax and enjoy it by enjoying delicious dishes and going to movies, outings etc. Nobody likes to get busy throughout the day in the kitchen even on Sundays. Though we all want to spend our holiday with family we also should take healthier home-made foods as they are more hygienic and tasty.

So here are some quick and easy dishes are  given below with preparation method to make our Sunday more enjoyable along with healthier diets which requires less cooking time so that all the members spend more time with each other while enjoying delicious homely foods. Even we can pack these homely snacks to our outings and take it instead of junk foods of out side.

Different Recipes:                                                     

  • EGG/PANEER BHURJI:

At first whisk the egg into a bowl with the spoon. Then add oil to a pan and heat it. After that add jeera, finely chopped  onions, green chillies, capsicum and ginger paste sauté it for few minutes and then add chopped tomatoes and coriander leaves, some salt, turmeric, red chilli powder, peppers and mix it well by stirring at last pour this mixture in beaten eggs and cooked it for few minutes.

For paneer bhaji crushed the paneer and rest same method only instead of egg paneer should be added.

 

  • PALAK PAKODAS:

At first finely chopped spinach, onions, green chillies, coriander, salt, turmeric, peppers and besan and some oil, mix it well into the bowl and make it a thick paste by sprinkling drops of water. Then heat the oil in the pan and give small shapes of this paste by pressing it with hand and drop it into the oil and fry till it becomes golden, no need to stir the pakoras and after frying remove extra oil by placing it over tissue paper

  • CHICKEN SOUP :

Bring  carrots(finely chopped) onions (chopped) Garlic (finely chopped) & chopped celery to a boil once after it has boiled then turn down your oven to simmer for 10mins after that drain the stock put it on the different pan. Then in a different bowl put all the chicken pieces and boil it on simmer until the chicken cooked fully. After then again drain the stock & put it down and shred the meat finely.

  • APPLE PIE :

First finely shred all the apple then put in on a non-stick pan for deep fry  for 30mins and  stir it continuously. Then add sugar to taste and add cashews nut , almond nut , and , raisins  then simmer the oven and leave it for two minutes then add milk (cow’s milk preferable) and leave it for one boil and then serve after garnishing it with finely crushed cashews and almond nuts.

  • MUSHROOM MASALA :-

Put cubed onions, tomatoes, ginger, garlic, cloves, and 8-10 almonds, cashews in a blender and blend it to a thick paste and make a puree of it without water. Heat a pan with a little butter and add some bay leaf, green cardamoms and some cinnamon stick then pour the earlier made puree to it and continue to cook until the puree thickens then add a pinch of turmeric, red chilli powder and garam masala to it and saute until it turns aromatic and leaves the sides then add mushroom pieces cook for 2 minutes and add water according to the required thickness of the gravy. Then leave it for a boil and serve it after garnishing with green coriander leaves.

  • POHA, SOOJI/VERMICELLI UPMA:

At first, wash the poha and drain the water properly. Then put some oil into the pan heat it with green chillies, curry leaves and add finely chopped onions when it gets browned add other finely chopped vegetables like carrot, beans, capsicums, potatoes and sauté it after that add some salt and other spices of our choice and stir it well and cook further for few minutes and garnish it with roasted groundnut, lemon and coriander leaves.

For Vermicelli or Sooji upma same process but instead of poha take sooji or vermicelli and roast it with some ghee and continue the rest method.

  • FRUIT SALAD:

At first peel and cut the fruits like apples, bananas, papayas,  pineapple, guavas, and mangoes means seasonal fruits into different shapes. We can also include grapes, pomegranate and other dry fruits and place them into a bowl, add few drops of olive oil and mix it well. For garnishing, we can add some mint leaves.

  • RICE BASED NOODLES FOR VEG/NON-VEG:

Boil the noodles and drain the water. Heat some vegetable oil in the kadhai and add cumin seeds, finely chopped onions after it browns add rest vegetables like potatoes, beans, cabbage, peas, carrots, capsicums and at last tomatoes then sauté it and add some salt, chilli powder, turmeric, peppers, ginger and garlic paste, coriander leaves and add some sauce and stir it well for few minutes and at last add boiled noodles to it and mix it properly, cook for few minutes.

For non-vegetarians whisk the eggs into a bowl and fry it by stirring, add some salt and turmeric and spices of our choice and add it to the ready noodles.
