  1. Drinking too much alcohol- Drinking too much alcohol without limitation may cause the deposition of uric acid in renal tubules, causing tubular obstruction and increasing the risk of kidney failure.
  2. Lack of sleep- Lack of sleep can lead to several health problems including kidney disease. While you sleep your body repairs damaged kidney tissues. So better sleep means better kidney.
  3. Painkiller abuse- The use of analgestics for a prolonged duration may reduce the blood flow and greatly affect the kidney function. These pills gradually deteriorate the kidney and liver.
  4. Not eating much- This is equally as dangerous as eating too much, both of them will damage to your digestive organs which is full of mucosal tissues. Mucosal tissues relates closely to your immune system. This is why kidney failure patients  are diagnosed with “autoimmune kidney damages”.
  5. Eating too much meat- Eating too much meat and protein can increase the metabolic load of kidney in particular regular consumption of red meat can cause dysfunction or failure.
  6. Excess sugar- High sugar foods increase the protein content in your system which in turn exerts pressure on your kidneys. Protein in urine is early sign of kidney failure.
  7. Not drinking enough water- The main function of kidneys are detoxification. If we don not drink enough water the blood will be concentrated and the blood flow to the kidney will not be adequate, thus the function of eliminating toxins in from the blood will be impaired.
