Calcium and Protein Rich Recipe
Calcium and Protein are the two major nutrients necessary for bone health. They are also essential for women’s health as well. Here is recipe which is rich in calcium, protein and fiber. This recipe is also gluten free and has low glycemic index. Hence it can be used by diabetics and also persons looking for weight loss. It is very tasty and kids love it too!!
Ragi and Besan Dosa
- Ragi flour – 1 Cup
- Rice Flour – ½ Cup
- Besan flour – 1 Cup
- Chopped Onions – ½ Cup
- Chopped Coriander Leaves – ½ Cup
- Jeera – 1 ½ Tsp
- Hing / Asafoetida – ¼ Tsp
- Salt – To Taste
- Water – As Required
- Oil – As Required
Method of Preparation
- Mix ragi flour, rice flour, besan flour, jeera, hing, chopped onions, coriander leaves and salt.
- Then add water to make a thin paste (just thinner than idli / dosa batter).
- Heat dosa / roti tawa.
- Once heated, spread the above mix as dosa.
- Add very little oil around the spread.
- Turn over after 30sec.
- Remove from tawa once cooked.
- Serve hot with salsa / tomato chutney.
