Get Manicure In 4 Simple Steps

Before knowing how to do manicure at home it is important to have all the tools. You will need a nail file, one shade of nail polish for the tip, another shade of nail polish for the rest of you nail, a clear nail polish for a finishing coat, nail tapes, nail polish remover and a tiny brush.

1. Ensure that your hands are thoroughly washed and no residue of nail polish remains. Its time to trim and file those babies. Once again, wash your hands to rid your nails of any residue caused due to filing.
2. Apply a nail tape to each of your fingernails just below the point where the nail transitions from white colour to its natural colour. You should ensure that the tape is pressed down well. Now, using the colour reserved for the tip of your nails, paint the area going up towards the tape. Do the same for all your nails.
3. Now, using the colour reserved for the rest of your nail, paint the entire area of each fingernail. Let it dry completely and then apply a top coat or two of clear nail polish to finish it off. There you have it, your very own French manicure at home.
