Make healthy choice of food when you dine outside home so that you relish, enjoy and stay healthy.
- Start with a soup.
- Order for a salad of your choice.
- Go for tandoori or grilled starters like grilled chicken / tandoori paneer / tandoori fish / grilled mushroom, etc.
- Avoid deep fried starters.
- Choose multigrain roti / makkai roti / wheat paratha / missi roti / veg pulav / peas pulav instead of choosing items made of maida.
- Enjoy your main course with what you love.
- Avoid anything rich in butter / cream.
- Order for low oil stuff. Most of the restaurants do oblige.
- Choose healthy, clean restaurants to dine as hygiene is also very important to maintain health and prevent infection.
- Go for fruit salad as dessert. Avoid fruit juices.
- Sip lime juice along with food, instead of carbonated beverages.
- Restrict alcohol to only 1 -2 ounces a week.
