Snacks are mid-day kicker when energy lowers down, but the healthy snack is a blessing over unhealthy snacks.

Why should we avoid snacks & dairy food containing full or double cream?

  1. High cholesterol level- Snacks & dairy food is generally relished in between the meal or with the meal. Snacks & dairy food containing full or double cream is bad for health because cholesterol content is quite high. For example khoya contain 100 mg per 100 gm. Rabbi contains 26 mg per serving. Paneer contains 20.8 gm fat per 100 ml.
  2. High trans fat-  Trans fat content in dairy snacks cause the delirious effect to our health. Trans fat enhances the low-density lipoprotein.   5. More simple sugar – The dairy snack with whole milk contain more simple sugar than that of fiber. Simple sugar easily absorbed in the body and it raises the total blood glucose level, when there is abnormal secretion of insulin it can lead to diabetes. Simple sugar consumption can lead excess fat accumulation in the body. Simple sugar can cause problem in digestion
  6. High sodium contains- Sodium content is high in the milk snacks. High sodium consumption can lead to an imbalance in sodium potassium homeostasis. It can lead to high blood sugar level. Egg custard contains 84 mg per 100 gm. Sodium contains in cheese snack is 621 mg per 100 gm.

It is better to opt toned and double or multiple toned milk cream product, these products are more heart friendly.
