Porridge  is  specially  for  baby’s  food.  But  above  is very  much  important  in  our  daily  routine  like  office or college  etc.  So Porridge is  important  for  all  of  us as instant nutritious dish.  Specially  Porridge  is prepared  very  fast anywhere anytime . Eating  porridge is  yummy  with  milk  is  too  good &  most  important  things  that  Porridge  we  can  prepared  fast  in  micro oven.  Porridge are  very  much rich in vitamins  and  minerals.  In  our  office  life  specially  in  breakfast  if  we  can  eat  Porridge then  our  meal  can be  taken later as we are perhaps in empty stomach for some time..

Varieties of Porridge

  1. Oat porridge – Oat porridge     its   available in   England  Scotland  Ireland  Germany and North  America.   The  most  common  type  is  corn  meal.  Variety   things  are  included where oat  meal  cream of  wheat   Barley.
  2. Buck wheat porridge – Buckwheat porridge  is  popular  this  country  like  Russia  and  Ukraine.  We can taste it  with  butter  for  better  taste.
  3. Sorghum porridge – Sorghum flour while added with water & butter  milk can be a great food for children.  sorghum flour is alternative  to  wheat replacement in breads, pastas, cereals,
  4. Flax  porridge  –  Like adults children can also  enjoy this type of porridge. This has immense benefits like best breakfast or start up meals with smoothies. This meal can produce enough oxygen, iron calcium.
  5. Wheat  porridge  Wheat  porridge it is  an  American  brand.    its  prepared  boiled  in  milk   or  water  with  sugar  and  salt.  Also  it  is  called   ‘’farina’’
  6. Millet Porridge – This is gluten free porridge having high protein, minerals like calcium, potassium, magnesium also entire B-complex.
  7. Rye  porridge  –    rye flour retains a large quantity of nutrients in comparison to refined wheat flour. This promotes good health by fibers, iron, calcium, so it clears the stools & provides real strength.

  10. Semolina based – This is a great alternative to others porridge even oats.Take 250ml skim milk added with water some, then add 40gm of semolina. Also some more like nuts, 1 banana, cinnamon, sultanas in addition to honey 2 tsf & 20gm flax seeds. Various  flavoring  can  be  used ,like  honey  sugar  milk   syrup etc and  can  vary  widely  by taste  and locality.  Even green vegetables, fruits can be added to get better taste & nutrition value to all.
