If Anyone Can Tell Me Why Insulin Does Not Work In My Body In Winter And What To Do?
Anonymous asked 8 years ago I am Diabetic for last 6 years. I monitor my Glucose level on daily basis but i have to face serious problem in managing my Diabetes in Extreme Winter, when i use the same amount of insulin in cold weather and it does not work. At this stage my Glucose level reaches to High (Above 300). Although in my routine life i daily go for walk for one hour and cover 5 to 6 kms and i maintain my Diabetes but what happened in winter?
Even when i go to in the bed for sleep and cover my body with warm blanket then insulin works and drop down Glucose level.
Please, if anyone can tell me why insulin does not work in my body in winter and what to do?
