I had a baby in ceaserian last 25 days ago. Now what kind of food I take. Someone please tell me.

Hi,
A well balanced diet with plenty of warm fluids will keep you and your baby healthy.

  • Consume a balanced diet with cereals, lots of pulses, Vegetables, fruits, milk products on a daily basis.
  • Take plenty of warm liquids, say about 3 – 4L (this includes soups, milk, milkshakes)
  • Choose milk instead for coffee or tea
  • Include 6 – 8 almonds daily.
  • Include galactogoges like garlic, fish, methi seeds, green leafy vegetables, milk, ragi – any one on a daily basis.
  • Try to sleep when your baby is sleeping to boost your energy.
  • Create a peaceful, happy atmosphere while feeding the baby.

Hi Mam – As you are a lactating mother you need to take care a very good quality foods/meals. You also note to by healthy diet can increase breast milk for your baby. Please add reasonable cereals, legumes, pulses soupy, plenty of all types vegetables ,fruits. You can have meals like Oat,Poha,Porridge,Dalia in Break fast or some times you are hungry. Nuts group, banana,whole skins all. Remember you need more high calcium that you can have from dairy products,Carbohydrate enriched with quality all types proteins.Its about 2400 kcal/day Energy you need.Most importantly take little more fresh water than you we consume normally,No stress.Do not eat all foods from street,out side full of oils,spicy ,so no junk,fast foods,fried foods,.Prefer simple home made quality foods as pointed out already.
