I agree that working night shifts can be tough on the body as it affects our circadian rhythm. It also affects the eating cycle. Some people do adjust to it with time. Try to eat balanced diet and exercise to get sleep during day time. Make your room conducive to sleep during morning hours.
If it is affecting a lot talk to your manager about your problems. Meet your family physician for a review.
