Quitting smoking,losing weight and regular physical activity help in increasing HDL. Whole wheat products,olive oil,walnuts,almonds,oily fish,omega3 fatty acids etc increase HDL.

Hi,
Increase your fiber intake by including double the quantity of vegetables in your diet.
Include atleast one fruit in a day.
Eat balanced food.
Small frequent feeds is better than 3 ful meals.
Avoid alcohol and smoking.
Avoid sweets, fatty food and carbonated beverages.
Include flax seeds in your daily diet. you can mix it with chapathi dough.
Include 4 full walnuts in your daily routine.
Take 8 pods of roasted garlic along with any one big meal.
Walk for 30 – 40 minutes atleast 5 days a week.
These steps proves to lower your LDL, Triglycerides and increase your HDL.
