The Female Infertility is the inability of a woman to get pregnant after an year of unprotected sex.  If a female undergoes multiple miscarriages, it can cause infertility. The problem can be a result of age, hormonal imbalance, lifestyle, environment or health issues.

By nature, females are born with only limited number of eggs. Chances of producing a baby decreases by some 3 to 5% by the time a female attains an age of 30. Re-productivity (capacity to produce babies) sharply declines by the age of 40 and beyond.

Causes of Female Infertility

Fallopian Tube Damage: The fallopian tube transports the eggs to uterus from ovaries. Pelvic infections, endometriosis, and pelvic surgeries may cause damage to fallopian tube. As a result female eggs do not meet with male sperms.

Hormonal Imbalances: Some females may have issues with ovulations. Medical Doctors take in use body temperature charts, ovulation predictor kits, and blood tests to find if hormonal imbalance is the cause to infertility.

Cervical Reasons: In this condition sperms can’t pass through the cervical tube. This condition may occur due to any previous surgeries or abnormal mucus productions.

Uterine Causes: Unusual anatomy of the uterus; the existence of fibroids and polyps.

In nearly 20% of infertile females, problem is unexplained and cannot be found using available medical techniques.
