Hi, Have small frequent meals at regular intervals. Include more vegetables in your diet. Restrict root vegetables and tubers (potato) varieties to once in 15 days only. Include green leafy vegetables for at least 3 days a week. Do not include rice at night time. Prefer brown rice or parboiled rice, if rice is the option for lunch. Moderation is the key for diabetic diet. Avoid simple sugars like sweets, honey, jaggery, palm jaggery. Reduce oil intake. Do not fast and do not feast.   Feel free to contact me for personalized diet plan. Pleasure to help, Uma Maheshwari PS, Dietitian, +91 99000 46344
