Are diabetic patients more prone to heart attack ?

Hi
Diabetes increases the chances of cardiac diseases and cardiac block.
As sugar is high in Diabetes and high sugar changes the properties of blood vessels increases the chances of deposition of atherosclerosis. Which results in cardiac disease and blockage.
So it’s very important to control sugar in the body and hence prevent Diabetes and it’s multiorgs complications.
