Can Asthma Be Cured?

Hello, Asthma is a chronic disease which presents with inflammation and narrowing of the airways and results in recurrent episodes of wheezing, cough, tightness in the chest and breathlessness. Asthma unfortunately is a controllable disease and with good management the symptoms can be reduced to minimal. However there is always a chance of flare up of symptoms due to triggers like allergens and infections. All patients with asthma are advised to meet there doctors regularly and take medication or inhalers as prescribed.
