acidic vs alkaline foods in daily diet
Could you please share the benefits and relevance of Acidic and Alkaline foods in our daily diet?
The theory behind the diet is that the foods we eat can have an effect on the pH levels inside our body. That is eating certain foods have a tendency to raise the acidity within the body, and other foods help to make the body more alkaline.It is thought that foods that cause the body to become more acidic raise the risk for long term health conditions including cancer.The natural pH level of the body is between 7.35 to 7.45, which is slightly alkaline.Hence alkaline foods helps in maintaining optimal health.
Hi – Our blood pH level is 7.4 & slightly alkaline.So as per your question I can say both foods are equally needed area wise by common foods we are consuming in our daily life.For examples we can not say that we will go only or more alkaline or vice-a versa. I am picking some good foods like dairy products, nuts group, Animal protiens like fish, Cereals like flour,oat, fats & cooking oil like sunflower ,olive oils, Butter, poultry, eggs, grains, and legumes including coffee etc. We all are taking these food compulsorily to get nutritive & maximum calorie value in daily life. At the same time Alkaline foods like almost all the fruits ,Tofu,almond,maximum vegetables ,some major spices we add in our foods to cook & eat daily etc. You can say beacuse of comparatively low calorie & due to presence of more alkalising minerals these are some how better & helpful more..But These both group I think always equally imporatnt in our foods to intake to make Diet & Nutrition well balanced all except some categorical suffering patients who are allergic & affected by Acidosis. We need 70:30 ratio of Alk : Acid ratio for healthy diet.Thanks.
