Sample Collection Information

•  2 mL (1 mL min.) plasma each for Fasting and Post Prandial specimens from 1 Grey Top (Sodium Fluoride) tube
•  Overnight fasting mandatory
•  Collect fasting specimen
•  Ask patient to have a normal to heavy meal
•  Note the time patient starts the meal
•  Collect PP sample exactly after 2 hours
•  Ship refrigerated or frozen
