IT people’s jobs are sedentary jobs which need lots of concentration and there shifting jobs disturbs their lifestyle and faulty lifestyle increases stress which is itself a cause of many diseases like obesity, diabetes etc. A healthy tiffin or lunch is required for every worker but many of them making a habit or trend of taking junk foods from the nearest restaurant, canteen which are no doubt delicious but these empty calorie foods are unhygienic, unhealthy as well as expensive. Even many workers skip their breakfast, lunch or snacks either due to workload, unavailability of safe foods, monetary problem or due to purchasing problem.

Most of the IT workers are not paying attention to their eating habits and so they are prone to obesity and other diseases which affect their working capacity and lower their performance level.

Avoid:

  • Skipping meals and irregular eating
  • Overeating at dinner as it disturbs sleep which may result concentration problem.
  • Eating in hurry which leads to obesity
  • Heavy and high calories meals. Carry a lunchbox to your workplace..
  • Smoking and alcohol.
