Importance Of Hygiene

Today in India most of the diseases spread very quickly from one village to another or from one person to other.

Lack of basic hygiene knowledge leads to an epidemic for entire areas.

So the awareness program or any kind of knowledge-based camp can help them to understand the basic hygiene and to protect their family

Awareness about Hygiene Environment in school and nearby residential areas can really help a lot; such knowledge should normally be made part of the regular curriculum in schools or other educational institutes.

Some government bodies have started some programs to promote the basic hygiene especially for girls (like “Kishori”) but even before the student, teachers should be made to understand the importance of hygiene as they are the role models for their students and the student will follow what they learn from their teachers.

School managements regularly run campaigns on their campus to make students aware of the need for hygiene.

As these small kids will grow tomorrow and will represent the society so making the societal base strong will help make the entire society safe from severe diseases like basic flu, swine flu and seasonal diseases like dengue. The best way to create such awareness is health camps in the schools, colleges and rural colonies where everyone can get some idea about basic hygiene and their benefits.
