Juice is the extract from the vegetable and fruit. It can be sweetened or plain extract of citrus fruit.

What is Citrus juice?

Citrus juice is the juice which is extracted from the citrus fruit like orange, sweet lime, lime, grapefruit.

What is sweet juice?

It is plane juice can be of only water or fruit or vegetable, where sugar/honey/sugar-free/ jaggery is added.

Citrus juice or sweet juice health safety tips-

  1. Citrus juice is good for oral health, citrus juice contains vitamin c which is helpful to take care of swollen gum, cracked lip corner. Sweet juice contains only sugar it is not so good for oral health.
  2. Citrus juice is good for skin. Vitamin C in juice works magic for the epithelial layer. Sweet juice has only sugar which is not good for skin. Too much sweet juice can lead to skin problem.
  3. Citrus juice has an antibacterial and antioxidant property which protect our eye from different infection.
  4. Citrus juices act wonder for the skin which has blemishes, pigmentation, and spot. Plane sweet juice isn’t helpful for problem skin.
  5. Citrus juice release saliva from the salivary gland. Saliva help in quick digestion.Flavonoids present in citrus juice aid digestion. Sweet juice can cause stomach upset.
  6. In case of diabetes, citrus juice proves to be beneficial if 2 tsp of mousambi juice is mixed with amla juice it works amazing for diabetes. Whereas sweet lime juice can enhance problem of diabetes.
