Now a day’s most of the health conscious people like to include papaya in their daily diet due to its several advantageous health effects. Papaya is the fruit of the plant, Carica papaya. Papaya is mainly native to Mexico, but now it is also cultivated in the tropical region. Papaya is also known as pawpaw or papaw. But the sweetness of Indian papaya should be checked before giving to a diabetic patient and it can heat up our bodies. So it is not recommended for the pregnant mother. In spite of having these limitations, papayas have the following health benefits –
