10 Foods that can Delay Your Period

Menstruation is a normal cycle for every woman between the ages of 12 -50 years and it brings women’s femininity. But period causes many problems like pain, sensation, inflammation and also prohibited entry to religious places. So sometimes you need to delay periods and here are the ten foods which naturally avoid or delays periods.

  • Avoid Spicy Foods: Spicy foods enhance blood flow and help to initiate the menstrual cycle. So to delay your period you must avoid all types of spicy foods like garlic, chilies and black pepper etc.
  • Herbs: Shepherd purse and Raspberry leaves are the herbs and the powder and juice made from it are used to temporarily hold your period.
  • Grams (Lentils): The soup made from grams (lentils0 helps to postpone your periods.
  • Vinegar: Three to four teaspoons of vinegar added to the glass of drinking water also delays your period if taken regularly twice.
  • Parsley Leaves: Drinking the strained water of parsley leaves with honey twice a day also postpones the date of the period.
  • Gelatin: Consuming gelatin with warm water thrice a day also helpful against delaying period.
