“Rise up, start fresh and see the bright opportunity in each new day.”

You need to feel the positivity inside you to start your day and overcome the hurdles that it brings with itself. It’s how you start your morning, which determines the tone for the rest of the day. In this fast pacing world and a gadget dominant society, we often find ourselves failing to manage time; it starts from the morning. The constant snoozing off the alarm clock, rushing to the washroom and getting ready in a hurry, skipping the most important meal of the day – the breakfast and the rest of the day seems to reflect that mood of chaos as well. The tone of the morning determines the tone of the day, so it’s time to start planning it accordingly.
First thing first, we need to inculcate healthy habits because when you form healthy habitual behaviors, you set your day up for success. Success is all we look for in this competitive world. Whether you are aware of it or not you act under habit (both good and bad) all the time- they are an integral part of your daily existence. In order to inculcate good habits into your system, you first need to practice the law of least resistance. It takes 21 days to create a habit. You need to be intentional with it, that means in order to cultivate good habits you need put some intentional efforts into forming them until they become permanent in nature and become an integral part of your existence.

8 Simple Habits For Your Morning
Here are 8 simple habits that you can add into your morning routine now, to ensure you are feeling, acting, and thinking at your highest potential for the rest of your day—and days—ahead.
1. Wake Up Early:
Waking up early in the morning is the first thing to strike off your list of cultivating good habits. You must rise early and go back to bed early. The morning is the most important part because it is when your day starts and you do not want to be late for the rest of the day.
The morning sets the tone for the entire day. If you win the morning, you win the day. There are so many other benefits to waking up early. So, the first thing that we need to do is to wake up early in the morning with full of positive energy and willingness to start the day.
2. Stay Unplugged From Tech:
What most of us do first thing in the morning is to check the notification on our phone. It is a really bad habit. We must avoid using the phone or any kind of gadget in the morning. If this is the first thing that you do in the morning, then you are doing yourself a disservice. You are immediately cultivating a reactive mindset rather than a proactive one. This will cause you to start your day in a defensive rate, which in turn will ruin your peace of mind and self-control. So, stay away from mobiles phone etcetera in the morning and refrain from using it.
3. Drink Water:
Our body is 70% water; you must drink as many fluids as possible through-out the day to maintain the same level. The Ayurveda technique of adding lemon to a warm glass of water helps remove toxins from your digestive tract that may have built up overnight, provides a good source of vitamin C, freshens your breath, supports weight loss, and stimulates metabolism and digestion. Bottoms up first thing in the a.m. for a healthy—and refreshing—start to your day.

In order to practice gratitude, take out your diary or a piece of paper and write at least five things that you are grateful for. It could be your parents, your job, anything. Don’t just think it, write it down.
