Diabetics and people looking for weight loss should look for recipes that are low in Glycemic Index. Here is one such recipe which is low in Glycemic index, at the same time rich in protein, fiber, calcium, potassium and also satisfies your tongue.

 

MILLET IDLI

Ingredients:

Ragi (Millet)        – 1 Cup

Bajra (Millet)      – 1 Cup

Jowar (Millet)    – 1 Cup

Urad (Gola)        – 1 Cup

Methi seeds       – 1 Tbsp

Salt                         – To Taste

 

Method:

Wash and soak all the three millets together for 3 hours.

Wash and soak Urad and methi seeds for three hours.

Grind urad mixture first.

Then grind the millet mixture.

Mix both the batter together. Keep it over night for fermenting.

Make fluffy, soft, tasty idlies and enjoy.

Same batter can be used to make dosa as well.
