what should we eat to control acidity?

Hi Thanks for your question. For acidity >>DO – 1) Not heavy but small & frequent meals on every 3 hours alternatively keeping mind three staple/main meals like breakfast, Lunch,Dinner. Also add small meals based on green salads, fruits salads,or dressings around 10am & 3 pm. Take water 3 mins later on every meal.2) Fibre based foods like whole grains rich all EX-brown breads,brown rice 100gm aprox.with plenty of green vegetables, whole gourd family & colourful vegetables ,little roughage by greens, Low organic foods like lean/red meat,but more plant based proteins like pulses, seeds,soya products,sprouts mix veg.dish at dinner.3) Take dairy products like paneer,chana,,yogurts,curd instead of plain milk.Also take fresh clean water time to time.4) Sleep min 8 hours, work involvements,yoga,free hand exercises,early rise,& sleep,over all deciplined lifestyles.DO NOT- 1) No fried foods ,not at all out side street foods,below standards resturents foods, ,no junk,fast,cream based all,no oily & rich spicy foods even at home. Avoid all flour & refined flour but more whole cereals made for bowels. 2) Except morning & evening do not drink milk filled tea, rather suggested green tea,liker tea max two times, avoid coffee.3) No stress, whole night working ,time working ,good tight sleep will help here.

Hi.
1. Avoid aerated drinks as well as caffeine. Opt for herbal tea instead
2. Have 10-12 glasses of water
3. Avoid alcohol and smoking
4. banana, yogurt, jaggery, ginger , almonds and watermelon will give u instant relief from acidity
5. Keeping long gap between ur meals is the main cause. So have small frequent meals
6. Do walk after meal
7. Boil some mint leaves or ajwain water after half an hr of the meal
8. Avoid junk or spicy foods, pickes, vinegar etc
